How much does it cost to hold initial planning meetings with the firm?

There is no charge for our initial planning meetings. We feel it’s time well-spent to get to know one another before we seek a mutual commitment and charge a fee.

How do you charge for your services?

As a Registered Investment Advisor, we provide fee-only investment management. We are fiduciary advisors and aim to represent the interests of our clients only – not the interests of brokerage firms. Our fees are transparent and fully disclosed, and we do not sell products. Our goals is to purely align incentives with those of our clients.

We provide our fee schedule to each client and our fees are disclosed in our form ADV as well as below.

Do you trade and hold my assets for me?

While you grant us Limited Power of Attorney (LPOA) to execute transactions on your behalf, you remain in control of your assets. Accounts are held in your name at a qualified custodian. Please feel free to give us a call if you have further questions about this.

What are your team’s credentials?

Austin Proctor, the owner and primary financial advisor, holds Bachelors degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology in Industrial and Systems Engineering (concentration in Economic and Financial Systems) and Economics. He also has obtained a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia. He is currently pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional (CFP®) designation, and has passed the Level I exam for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation.

We believe investing is complex and sometimes requires a second set of eyes. We partner with a CFP® professional to perform quarterly reviews of our clients’ portfolios.

Do you have a minimum asset requirement?

We currently do not impose an account or relationship minimum, We believe that financial independence should be for everyone, and we cater our offering for those that are working to achieve financial freedom.

Are you a fiduciary?

Jato Wealth Advisory is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) that is a fiduciary to our clients. This means we are legally sworn and obligated to always place the interest of the client ahead of our own. We do not sell financial products or earn commissions.

Why should I consider ONLY working with a fiduciary?

A fiduciary must act in YOUR best interest, not the interest of the advisor, company, or brokerage.

You’ve come to the right place. We specialize in helping you get started with saving and investing. Our process is an ongoing relationship, where we spend time focusing on each component. We work with you on an ongoing basis to establish a budget and evaluate your spending, build your credit, evaluate debt obligations, save smartly, make efficient tax actions, prepare for building a family or a real estate purchase, and when the time is right, invest.

What are your fees for financial planning services?

Our fee structure is:

  • Individuals aged 29 and younger: $150 / month
  • Households and individuals aged 30 and older: $250 / month
  • Households with $100,000+ to invest: 1% Assets Under Management (AUM)
